What to see and do in Gap

• The town centre: start with a visit to the heart of the old town to stroll along its cobbled streets, admire its old mansions or colourful houses, discover its farmers’ market, its restaurants…, not forgetting its monuments such as the famous cathédrale Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Arnoux and its renowned porch-tower.
• The domaine de Charance: located not far from Gap, it once housed the bishops of Gap. Nowadays, visitors can admire its château, converted into a park, an eco-museum and a botanical conservatory.
• Théus and its “fairy chimneys”: located 22 kilometres from Gap, a stop in Théus lets you take in this unique site, formed by natural geological processes, which towers above the trees. A place unlike anywhere else, and an absolute must-see.
