Camping de la Motte is a 4-star Camping Paradis establishment, family-friendly and welcoming, located in Épesses (Vendée) in the Vendée bocage. Its 4 hectares host 123 pitches: 76 rental accommodations across 4 ranges (Insolite, Privilège, Luxe, Confort) – mobile homes, chalets, titomes and lodge tents with a terrace – and 47 spacious bare pitches of 200 to 300 m², well delineated and shaded.

The family pedestrian area is a calm and safe, car-free space, perfect for families with children. The accommodations are equipped with television (except Marquise tents) and are accessible to people with reduced mobility depending on the type. The campsite opens its doors on 2 April 2026. Pets are not allowed in the rental accommodations.

Camping de la Motte offers a complete range of services: a snack bar, bread delivery in high season, an on-site laundry and free WiFi in the entertainment-dining area (paid access from pitches). The Les Vacances Camping Paradis app makes organising your stay easier. Communal barbecues are available and individual charcoal barbecues can be rented. Bed linen is not provided (except in accommodations with a private spa) but can be rented on site.

Great news for 2026: the campsite can now book your Puy du Fou tickets (Grand Parc + Cinéscénie). A fitness room is available to all holidaymakers. For groups (minimum 40 people), a full hotel-style service is offered: beds made up on arrival, breakfast, meals and picnic baskets. Paid WiFi is available from the pitches.

20 minutes from the campsite, Puy du Fou – France’s leading theme park – presents epic shows about the history of the Vendée. 40 minutes away, the beaches of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Sables d’Olonne invite you to swim. The Marais Poitevin (1 hour), the La Rochelle aquarium, the Futuroscope and the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier round out an exceptional tourist offering.
