Camping Sunêlia Les Pins is set in a pine forest at Argelès-sur-Mer, just 300 metres from Plage des Pins, on the Mediterranean coast of Pyrénées-Orientales. A member of the Sunêlia network, this 4-star campsite offers 22 accommodation types, from Coco Sweet tents to Sunêlia Grand Luxe mobile homes with a private jacuzzi, as well as bare pitches for tents and caravans.
The establishment earned the Clef Verte eco-label eleven years ago and has kept it ever since thanks to its active environmental approach. The pedestrian area with wooden cabins on stilts offers an original and peaceful setting, right in the heart of Argelès-sur-Mer. The season runs from 1 April to 5 October 2026.
The campsite welcomes guests in five languages (French, English, Spanish, German, Dutch) and accepts dogs and cats upon presentation of the vaccination booklet. Two accessible mobile homes and adapted access to facilities round out the offer. The campsite is listed under Qualité Tourisme, Familles Plus and CampingCard.
On site, the Le Bikini restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by a snack bar and a bar for quick breaks. A grocery shop covers morning essentials, and a bread and pastry drop-off point operates from 8am with orders placed the day before. A laundrette is available on site. Gas barbecue rental is possible (€25/week; only gas barbecues are allowed on the accommodation).
Wi-Fi offers 30 free minutes every six hours in the bar-restaurant area and the pool room; paid packages are available at reception to cover the whole of Camping Les Pins. An electric vehicle charging point is installed in the car park. A games room with table football and pinball, a trampoline and a tree-top adventure course for children round out the offer.
The wellness area opens in July and August: a beauty institute offers treatments and massages, and a hairdressing salon takes appointments. Reception is open every day from 8:30am to 7pm in low season, until 7:30pm (8pm at weekends) in high season.
Entertainment at Camping Sunêlia Les Pins sets the pace for high season: Sunny Club for ages 5–12, Club Ados for ages 13–17, dance evenings, flamenco shows, jazz concerts and DJ nights. On site, guests can enjoy a multi-sports pitch (football, basketball, volleyball), a floodlit pétanque court, table tennis tables, a mini-golf course and a gym accessible during reception hours.
As for nearby attractions, Plage des Pins is a five-minute walk away (300 metres). Argelès-sur-Mer holds the Blue Flag and offers 7 km of sandy beach. Collioure, 7 km away, is worth the detour for its harbour and colourful alleyways. Saint-Cyprien golf course and the Aqualand water park are reachable by car, with discounted tickets for campsite guests.
For heritage lovers, Collioure’s royal castle, the Notre-Dame des Anges church and the hamlet of Racou are all gems within reach. The Spanish border and Cadaqués can be reached in under an hour from the campsite for a day trip.
